I've been in your situation: both as a drummer in bands wanting to finance album recordings and release tours, and as a venue director (Jazz Maastricht) seeking to finance concert series, festivals, talent awards, interdisciplinary productions, and other creative music projects. Realizing our artistic ideas is difficult when we're talking about a certain scale and level of quality. And in my experience, too many artists and cultural organizations hit this financial wall, and therefore many amazing projects never get to be experienced by people...

With over 10 years of fundraising experience, I know how to turn creative ideas into approved applications. Not by simply filling out forms, but by sharpening your creative and financial vision. The right funds aren’t always easy to find, and approval depends on having a distinct artistic vision, creating cultural, social, and economic impact, developing a clear marketing and organizational plan, and building a solid financial foundation. In that light, working together on your fundraising is an opportunity to gain clarity on the main moving parts of your creative project. Together, we will identify funding opportunities, craft a compelling application, and design a viable, future-proof finance mix. Below are some examples of fundable cultural projects:

• For artists: songwriting, music recording/releasing, professional development, (international) tours, and buying a new instrument.

• For promoters: concert series, festivals, music competitions/awards, talent programs, (inter-/multi-) disciplinary productions.

To date, I have extensive experience in successfully securing +1.250.000 € in funding from provincial and municipal governments, Het Cultuurfonds, Fonds Podiumkunsten, AFK, SENA Performers, BNG Cultuurfonds, Norma Fonds, Stichting Dioraphte, VSB Fonds, Creative Europe, and other sources.

PRICES

The fee for my fundraising service depends on the scale of your project and the required budget. My fundraising service includes: (co-)creating a project plan, a communication plan, a budget, a funding scan & strategy, applying for all available funds on your behalf, and all necessary communication with the funds throughout this process. Besides full fundraising applications, we can also work together on specific needs of your organisation, such as writing a project plan, creating a budget, writing a year-end report, conducting a funding scan & strategy, and more. Contact me to discuss your specific request for a price indication.

After the application, your responsibilities include inviting funds to your première/events, keeping them updated about essential changes, and providing them with an artistic and financial evaluation upon completion of the project.

<150.000 €

For a project with a total budget below €150.000, the price is €3.500 (excl. VAT). Of which 50% fixed, and 50% will be billed after raising >€20.000.

150.000 € - 399.000 €

For a project with a total budget between €150.000 -€399.000, the price is €5.000 (excl. VAT).

For a project with a total budget exceeding €400.000, the price is €4.000 (excl. VAT) plus 2% of the total fundraising revenues.
